Mentor Circles Impact Report

This year, our Mentor Circles met with students for 23 weeks to create space for connection, reflection, and growth.

As we reviewed the data, one finding stood above the rest:

Students left the year feeling more supported by trusted adults.

πŸ“ˆ Students who agreed with the statement "I have adults in my life who believe I can make a difference" increased from 3.93 to 4.58 on a 5-point scale.

πŸ“ˆ Students who agreed with "I have adults in my life I can trust" increased from 4.33 to 4.58.

Beyond the numbers, students shared stories of overcoming loss, navigating peer pressure, wrestling with conflict, and dreaming about who they want to become. They told us they want schools with less bullying, less violence, and more respect.

The data also revealed something important: while academics and behavior are influenced by many factors, consistent relationships with caring adults remain one of the strongest supports we can offer young people.

That's why we do this work.

Our full Mentor Circles Impact Report dives deeper into the survey results, behavioral trends, academic outcomes, key lessons learned, and the stories students shared along the way.
