Each week in our mentor circles, we’re reminded how much honesty and excitement our students bring to the table. While not everyone loves being at school, there’s a real sense of pride in being part of this group—and that creates space for honest, raw, and sometimes heavy conversations.

This week, our students opened up about bullying, losing loved ones, and how hard it can be to share emotions. We also celebrated moments of courage and growth—like a student who made the volleyball team for the first time, and another who shared that they hadn’t cried since losing their grandparents. That moment turned into a powerful breakthrough as they felt safe enough to express their emotions and experience care from the group.
